This piece was created for the entrance of the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture permanent exhibit. It was called "Emergence" and cast in bronze. The original was saved but only one of the little figures survived the mold process. This last little figure is the "Last One Out." Out of the Mother's bowl, comes all the children of the world. The bowl is now empty with only one little figure left holding his mother's finger as she points the way for him to go. |
