“Why do you turn Heaven into Hell?”
said the voice. To hold up the world
Is a Choice...and the childred are fine
either way......really.
I sat with this piece for days not wanting
to look at the reflection it showed me.
I wanted it out of the room.
I wanted it to leave me with my tired
victimized self.
But something happened after a few days...
I imagined her arms coming to rest at her sides.
Instead of weight, I saw the children as
beautiful, doing exactly what they were
always doing. Forgiveness for
the mothers sacrifices over-whelmed me and
I loved her for how she is, and how I am.
I saw the earth molding us all in the same way.
I ,as a child felt great love for my “Mother”
and I, as the mother ,could now smile at myself.
