When I was a child I discovered a
wonderful place in the world of small things. The grains
of sand,the edge of a leaf, dust floating in the air,a single
bundle of grass...brought me comfort in times of stress.
As an adult, I still go to this precious place and have been
given the nickname "The Queen of Small Things".
I made this piece to honor all that is small, taken for granted,
unseen or barley seen. For all that is holy and grand, there
are millions of unseen particles, humbly creating the universe.
There's something very satisfying about that knowing.
