Denver Museum - Roxanne Swentzell
The new American Indian art galleries are open but one artwork is still in process. Catch Santa Clara potter Roxanne Swentzell working on her 10-foot sculpture, Mud Woman Rolls On, in the level three galleries of the North Building. Roxanne will be working throughout the day on March 15 and 16, adding layers of clay to her artwork. See how she creates her large sculpture using straw wattles and Colorado adobe. Watch an artist at work in the galleries and hear the back story at an Insider Moment on March 16. Join master teacher Heather Nielsen for a special look at artist Roxanne Swentzell and her sculpture Mud Woman Rolls On.
